Cyberclub: From the use of the term "Cyber" as popularised in (writings about) the works of Sterling, Gibson et al: of a (generally dark) technological future. Specifically, a (night)club with a futuristic theme and a "forward-looking" musical orientation.
Industrial Music: A musical style the definition of which is much in debate (refer "rmi"). Generally considered to be characterised by use of electronics (synthesisers, samplers etc.) and derive from work by bands such as "Throbbing Gristle", "SPK", "Cabaret Voltaire" etc. Recently popularised by American bands "Nine Inch Nails", "Ministry", Canadians "Skinny Puppy" and "Frontline Assembly" and Europeans "Front 242". Sometimes also known as "cyberpunk" music.
Interzone: From the writing of William Burroughs; an imaginary African city where everything is possible and every imaginable vice available.

rmi: Acronym for "rec.music.industrial"; a usenet newsgroup dedicated to the discussion of Industrial Music.

Virtual: Not actual; potential or (in a technological context) existing as a simulation on a computer system.
